TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Ft Mitchell, Kentucky, 41017!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5 years required License: Active Compact license required at submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Experience with pre-cardiac catheterization and managing ports - Travel experience required - EPIC charting experience required - Required vaccinations: COVID-19 (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) and Flu Description: Locals within 75 miles are accepted. Only one holiday can be permitted to request for time off. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Potential to accommodate block scheduling, but it will not be guaranteed. Expect four weekend shifts (two Saturdays and two Sundays in a six-week period), along with three Mondays and three Fridays. Travel partners are not allowed. Contractors will support patients requiring inpatient care and waiting for a bed. If there are not enough boarders, they will float to observation units as needed. Required skills include accessing and managing ports, cardiac telemetry, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Experience in managing high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management is necessary. Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and nursing procedures is essential. Tattoos and piercings must adhere to facility guidelines. Nails must be kept to less than 1/4 inch in length, and natural fingernails with acceptable polish are permitted. Scrubs should not have any logos on them. This position requires communication with interdisciplinary teams and support staff. Contracted staff will care for patients in various settings, including admissions and observation units.
