Position Summary Aetna Resources, LLC., a CVS Health company, is hiring in Atlanta, GA for a Sr. Analyst, Actuarial. The role serves as a market-based actuary for commercial business areas on pricing, budgeting, and insurance. You will develop pricing strategies to drive profitable growth, conduct experience analysis reviews, partner with Sales, Underwriting, Product, Network, and Finance to develop strategic initiatives, conduct competitive analysis, prepare and analyze intermediate level data for actuarial studies, and drive maintenance of pricing and underwriting tools. You will support underwriting case questions, work on special actuarial research projects, develop reserve factors, coordinate, scope and maintain valuation systems, contribute to product development and re‑pricing initiatives, apply knowledge of current pricing models and risk management practices, prepare routine reports, assess training and work processes, and communicate trends and issues to upper management. The position is hybrid; remote work permitted but you must live within commuting distance and be available to report to the office as needed. Requirements Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Two (2) years of experience conducting actuarial valuations. Six (6) months of experience or completion of a university‑level course, research project, internship, or thesis in each of the following areas: Java, Python, or R Machine learning and predictive modeling VBA-based valuation models Excel, including Power Query and Power Pivot Minimum: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Pay Range $79,539.00/year to $118,000.00/year. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. The role is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program and an equity award program.
