Inventory SpecialistThe Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventory movement and correctness.Pay: $17.50/hour - 18.00/hourSchedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through FridayWe rarely work on weekends.Must have good typing & Word skills. Excel is a plus.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWorkflowHelps to actively manage and control physical and cycle count inventories, researching and making required adjustmentsMakes inventory procedural change recommendationsHelps monitor and maintain replenishment inventory levels in an accurate and timely mannerSets up new product locations based on upcoming purchase order receiptsPerforms eyewear frame take-apart adjustments in systemSchedules and performs inter-site transfer of eyewear casesTransfers and physically moves closeout eyewear and cases in the systemMaintains warranty productReceives product from purchase ordersPromotes a safe work environmentMust be willing to learn other duties as neededCommunicationCommunicates effectively with various members of the operations teamSkills & QualificationsCan-do attitude with the ability to multitask and capable of working extended hours or weekends when needed3+ years of similar experience managing inventory in a warehouse environment requiredComputer skills and RF scanning software requiredMust be able to stand 6–8 hours per day as required to open cartons, count items, and place in storage areasMust be willing to work in a climate-controlled warehousePhysical RequirementsThe job requires the ability to stand and walk up to 6–8 hours per day and alternately sit at a desk to use a computer for 2–3 hours per day as neededMust be able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
