**Job Title: Behavioral Health ER • Registered Nurse • Days**

Join our team in Torrance, CA, as a Behavioral Health ER Registered Nurse for an 8•week day shift contract in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

**Responsibilities:**

• Conduct psychiatric and medical assessments
• Perform crisis intervention and de•escalation
• Administer medications and monitor patient safety
• Coordinate evaluations and treatment plans
• Facilitate inpatient psychiatric placements

**Patient Care:**

• Suicidal/homicidal ideation
• Acute psychosis and mood disorders
• Substance•induced conditions
• Behavioral health emergencies

**Requirements:**

• Active CA RN License
• AHA BLS, NIHSS, MAB/CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card
• 2 years of recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Cerner documentation experience preferred
• COVID vaccination and booster if eligible

**Additional Info:**

• No on•call
