Travel RN - Emergency Department - Wichita, KS

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN for our Emergency Department. This unit is designed to provide high-quality emergency care with a focus on patient experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional nursing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform IV starts and medication administration.
• Assist in sedations and pediatric care management.
• Monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1-year current RN experience in an Emergency Department.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
• Experience in a 52-bed ER or larger is advantageous.
