Staff Nurse

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Staff Nurse for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Clayton, NC . Details of the position are as follows: Job Details: Pay: $40/hr to Start!! 6-month assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget. Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4pm Position will be mainly responsible for providing occupational health nursing care for employee injuries and illnesses, including assessments, first aid, emergency response, referrals, and follow-up care. Position will also be responsible for conducting pre-employment and ongoing health assessments, including hearing, vision, respiratory protection, and medical surveillance programs. Position will also administer and manage employee immunizations, perform venipuncture, and support onsite QA, R&D, manufacturing, and laboratory operations. Position will also respond to onsite medical emergencies, coordinate emergency transportation, and provide telephonic triage for workplace injuries. Position will also be responsible for maintaining employee medical records, workers’ compensation documentation, and return-to-work cases while following occupational health and cGMP requirements. Qualifications: Associate’s OR Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with an active RN license in North Carolina is Required! 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in Occupational Health, employee health, clinical nursing, public health, medical assessment, or emergency care is Preferred! Knowledge of Occupational Health, including ergonomics and industrial hygiene; COHN or COHN-S certification is Preferred! Experience with immunizations/vaccinations (Hepatitis B, Rabies, Tetanus, Diphtheria) and medical record creation and management is Preferred! Hands‑on experience with nursing care, physical/health assessments, CPR/emergency response, health counseling, wellness coaching, and vision testing is Preferred!
