Job Description
The Industrial Maintenance Technician ensures that machinery and equipment in factory, plant, and warehouse environments operate safely, reliably, and efficiently by installing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial systems.
Responsibilities
- Install industrial machinery and equipment in factory, plant, and warehouse settings according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to quickly identify root causes of equipment failures and performance problems.
- Perform corrective repairs on industrial equipment to restore safe and efficient operation.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals to guide installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Inspect equipment regularly to detect wear, potential hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and support continuous manufacturing processes.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to maintain accurate service records.
- Follow all safety procedures and best practices while working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Essential Skills
- Hands-on experience as an industrial maintenance technician working with factory, plant, or warehouse equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical components and assemblies.
- Solid electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems and controls.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex equipment issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience working with hydraulics, including the maintenance and repair of pumps, valves, cylinders, and related components.
- Experience working with pneumatics, including air compressors, valves, actuators, and associated control systems.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply information from technical schematics and diagrams.
- Commitment to safe work practices when installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experince in industrial maintenance within manufacturing, production, or distribution facilities.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, production, and other maintenance team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when diagnosing equipment issues.
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings and explaining repair needs and outcomes.

Work Environment
This role is based in an industrial setting that may include factories, plants, and warehouses with active production and material handling operations. You will work directly with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery, using tools and diagnostic equipment to perform installations, troubleshooting, and repairs. The environment requires adherence to safety procedures, use of appropriate personal protective equipment, and comfort working around moving machinery and industrial systems.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
