Wilshire-Vermont Corp 3200 Wilshire Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90010, USA An accounts payable specialist is responsible for ensuring all bills are paid efficiently and timely. They provide administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, monitoring expenses, and maintaining records for tax purposes. Perform extensive general ledger entries and transactions for invoice processing. Mail out checks and documents; conduct filing work. Prepare GL certifications – Fixed Assets, Prepaid and Reserved accounts. Comply with the Bank’s security program, including but not limited to: Review and comply with the End-User Computing Agreement. Acquire knowledge of functions and usage of computer systems related to assigned job functions. Stay current on industry trends to safeguard the Bank against confidential data leaks, identity theft, fraudulent activities, and computer security threats. Report suspicious activities to manager, Chief Risk Officer, or Information Security Officer. Job Qualifications / Requirements Education / Credentials Prior Experience Minimum 3 years of experience. Technical Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or customer complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics to top management, employees, regulators, or board members. Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle multiple abstract and concrete variables. Ability to prioritize tasks; good time‑management, problem prevention, and problem‑solving skills. Possess a work ethic that includes neatness, punctuality, and accuracy. Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e‑mail. The salary range for this full‑time position is $23 – $25 per hour, plus bonus and benefits. Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location.
