POSITION SUMMARY

Retail Manager position for our Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s CLUB program. This Retail Manager is a salaried member of the leadership team. Your primary role is to oversee and drive the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s CLUB credit program and the CLUB customer experience culture throughout our store, while also supporting the team during Manager on Duty shifts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Customer Experience Consistently exemplify outstanding CLUB Customer Service Experience standards by incorporating CLUB exclusive benefits into conversations. Promote current CLUB cost savings programs to our customers by effectively merchandising and signing products for higher visibility. Actively listen to customers to address questions and concerns regarding the CLUB program. Develop and implement strategies to improve the CLUB customer experience. Serve as the primary CLUB liaison to ensure the retail leadership team and all outfitters are knowledgeable regarding current CLUB promotions and programs. Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute successful onsite and offsite events representative of our CLUB brand standards. Influential Leader and Trainer Build strong, collaborative relationships with the General Manager, managers, and outfitters to gain credibility and influence. Motivate and inspire outfitters by giving them the tools and training to be confident in referrals. Lead by example, serve as a role model and coach for peers and outfitters. Facilitate CLUB 101 training for all new Outfitters during onboarding, creating an engaging learning environment. Support Outfitter recognition by implementing the Members‑Only program and launching store‑level CLUB recognition initiatives to build CLUB culture. Recognize contributions and successes in driving CLUB referrals. Builds Great Talent Create a strategy around recruiting and retaining talent. Hire the right CLUB Outfitters and build strong teams. Promote an outfitter‑centric culture focused on self‑development. Provide honest coaching, feedback, and individualized development plans for improvement. Compliance and Analytics Design and execute strategies that meet CLUB metrics. Review and analyze daily CLUB reporting for performance metrics. Partner with General Manager to develop corrective action plans for missed metrics. Execute all CLUB operational and compliance programs. Improve execution of all departmental functions to drive performance and compliance. Successfully perform mandatory training, communications, account servicing, marketing, and payments. Lead the CLUB instant issuance process, including inventory management procedures. .ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED - The information above generalizes responsibilities, leadership skills, and mandatory duties for the CLUB Membership Manager.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Years of Experience: 2‑4+ years in Sales, Management, or Leadership.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, and percentages. Problem‑analysis, data collection, and fact‑driven conclusions. Interpretation of financial, legal, technical information. Reading and analyzing reports; writing reports and business correspondence. Effective oral communication with managers, associates, customers, and public. Meeting and presentation conduct. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, data management, POS, inventory systems. Strong interpersonal skills; establish and maintain relationships. Team‑management mindset.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

As needed for training and CLUB off‑site events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Communicate with others at all times. Regular computer work, walking, standing. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional work outdoors, hot/cold temperatures. Occasional work in noisy environments.
