CareTeam is hiring a Staff Accountant for a third-generation, family-owned Buffalo company that builds custom electrical equipment for commercial and industrial markets. A great opportunity for an accounting professional who wants more than a typical accounting role. Working directly with the company’s fractional CFO, you will take on every finance task, big or small, learn the business inside and out, and grow into owning the accounting and finance side of the operation. For the right person, this role can develop into a Junior CFO or CFO position as the company scales. The Details Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, in office Type: Direct hire Benefits: Health, vision, and dental paid in full (single and family), 401k with match, 2 weeks PTO plus the week between Christmas and New Year’s off What You’ll Do Run day-to-day A/P and A/R in QuickBooks: vendor bills, payments, invoicing, and collections Handle reconciliations and support month-end close Manage customer and vendor setup, tax exemption certificates, lien waivers, and COIs Support sales tax filings, audits, and quarterly financials with the CFO Build Excel reports that give leadership fast, reliable answers What You Bring 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in QuickBooks (A/P and A/R) You learn new software quickly Associate’s degree in accounting or finance required, bachelor’s preferred Ambition to grow into a finance leadership role #J-18808-Ljbffr
