  • Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.
  • Team up with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to develop cohesive treatment strategies.
  • Educate patients and their families to foster progress beyond the clinical environment.
  • Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
  • Keep meticulous documentation in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing education to stay updated with the latest industry advancements and collaborate with peers for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not presently ASHA-certified.
Required Certifications
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
