Dental hygienist

Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and taking vital signs
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper (and personalized!) oral hygiene
- Perform dental charting and update patient records accurately
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies

full-time $44 - $49 per hour

Pay: $44.00 - $49.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 36 per week

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Licensed dental hygienist
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of IL
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- CPR certification

• Dentrix

- Proficiency in Dentrix
- Strong patient assessment skills, including the ability to identify oral health issues and develop treatment plans
- Thorough understanding of infection control protocols
- EXCELLENT communication skills, with the ability to educate and motivate patients
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining medical records
