Job Summary
Participate in a nursing career development and training program that combines hands-on healthcare experience with nursing education. Support resident care services in a senior living environment while developing clinical knowledge, practical skills, and professional experience needed for a future nursing career. Gain real-world healthcare experience while completing nursing coursework and training requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Participate in nursing education and training activities.
- Gain practical experience in resident care and healthcare services.
- Assist healthcare professionals in supporting resident needs.
- Develop clinical, communication, and patient care skills.
- Complete required nursing coursework and training objectives.
- Follow healthcare policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Support quality care initiatives and resident well-being.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
- Build experience and competencies for future nursing roles.
- Interest in pursuing a nursing career.
- Enrollment or planned enrollment in a nursing education program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn healthcare procedures and clinical practices.
- Dependable and professional work ethic.
- Interest in serving older adults and healthcare populations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
