Job description:

Title: Travel Nicu Rn

Requirements:

- Active nursing license

- Bls and Nrp certifications required

- Minimum of 1 year recent bedside Nicu experience required; 2 years preferred

- Travel Rn experience required

- Proficient in Epic Emr

- Core Nicu competencies including ventilator management, Iv start/maintenance, neonatal sepsis workup, and tracheostomy care

Roles & responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive care for neonates in the Nicu, including those requiring ventilatory support

- Monitor and evaluate patient status and make necessary adjustments in care

- Administer medications and manage care processes following established protocols

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

- Educate families on neonatal care and developmental practices

Compliance / notes:

- Orientation: 24 hours

- Local radius: 50 miles (local rule accepted at lower bill rate)

- References and identity verification (Ssn, Dob) required during compliance process

- Return staff policy: may return after 3 months

- Modules: pre-start required (average ~16 hours non-billable)
