About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Hematologist/Oncologist to join our client's team in Iowa. This 90-day assignment is set to begin around Sep 14, 2023, with a schedule of two weeks on and two weeks off, including clinic hours from 8 AM to 4 PM. In this role, you will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, developing and adjusting treatment plans, managing chemotherapy, and providing essential pain and end-of-life care. Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop new treatment plans.
• Manage ongoing treatment plans and therapy adjustments.
• Provide referrals for ancillary services.
• Offer end-of-life care.
• Oversee chemotherapy management.
• Administer pain management.

• Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• EMR: Epic.
• The role involves medical Hematology/Oncology coverage for four to five days per week.
• Inpatient coverage at both facilities and outpatient clinic responsibilities.
• Call is required.
• Expected patient volume: 10-30 clinic patients and 10-15 hospital census patients per day.
• LOA: 90 Days.
• Staffing Mix: 1 Physician, 0 Advanced Practice Providers, 1:1 Nursing Support.
