Registered Nurse In Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night or Day, rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months permanent experience in CVICU License: Must have an Ohio license or a valid compact state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (active with nothing pending) Must-Have: 18 months of recent CVICU experience. Ability to work every other holiday. Acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation. One professional reference from a supervisory level in specialty applying for is required.

Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The schedule involves rotating night and day shifts, with 12 hours per shift. Candidates should have at least 18 months of permanent experience in CVICU. Recent travel experience in the specialty will be considered. Applicants must possess a valid Ohio or compact state nursing license. Certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and NIHSS are required. All required certifications must be current and active before consideration. Travelers may be submitted for only one job at a time. Background checks will be conducted, and any open cases will disqualify candidates. Candidates will need to fully comply with facility requirements throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
