ICU RNAs our Registered Nurse at CHI St. Vincent in Stepdown Unit, you will help patients transitioning from intensive care achieve optimal health and independence so they can return home safely and confidently.Every day you will provide direct patient care, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and managing complex patient needs. You will be expected to collaborate effectively with physicians, other healthcare providers, and patients and their families.To be successful in this role, you must possess strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.Checking patients' health status daily and making note of any changes or concernsCaring for multiple patients throughout the same shift, often varying in age and conditionMonitoring patients with life-saving medical equipment such as IVs, catheters, feeding tubes and ventilatorsProviding a comfortable and secure environment for the patient while acting as their advocateRequiredRegistered Nurse: AR, upon hire andBasic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days andAdvanced Cardiac Life Support, within 12 - monthsPrevious step down and/or ICU experience required for PRNCHI St. Vincent, a regional health network serving Arkansas, is part of CommonSpirit Health.
