Job Details Key Responsibilities Diagnostics & Repair: Perform advanced troubleshooting and major overhauls on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and differentials. Preventative Maintenance: Inspect vehicle systems and execute scheduled services independently to minimize downtime. Leadership & Mentoring: Guide junior mechanics, review completed work, and support team training initiatives. Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 5 to 6 years of hands-on mechanical experience working on trucks, buses, or commercial transport fleets. Certifications: Industry credentials such as Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Certification. Licenses: Valid driver's license; commercial driver's license (CDL) is frequently required.
