## ***Current Employees and Students: If you are currently employed or enrolled as a student at any of the Universities of Wisconsin, log in to Workday to apply through the internal application process.***## **Position Title:**Assistant Teaching Professor - Engineering## **Job Category:**Academic Staff## **Employment Type:**Regular## **Job Profile:**Teaching Assistant Professor## **Job Duties:**The Resch School of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for an Assistant Teaching Professor position in Engineering.This position will be responsible for enhancing UW-Green Bay’s mission-driven inclusive teaching efforts and creating and maintaining an educational environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates those with diverse identities, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds.The candidate will be expected to display a commitment to undergraduate education and possess communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with a diverse array of program partners.## **Key Job Responsibilities:*** Perform institutional service and contribute to the ongoing programmatic development within the Resch School of Engineering* Utilize teaching strategies that support the access mission of the University* Perform assessment associated with ABET accreditation* Teach a load of 27 contact hours including lower level courses to support UWGB’s engineering and engineering technology programs* Teach general education courses, such as Ethics in Engineering and Science and Engineering in Global Context, that support the Resch School of Engineering’s mission of contributing to the University’s core curriculum and lower level engineering courses, such as Fundamentals of Engineering Technology, Engineering Materials, Chemistry for Engineers, Basic and Green Manufacturing Processes, and Computer Aided Design## **Expected Start Date:**August 24, 2026## **Department:**Resch School of Engineering## **Compensation:**Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).## **Required Qualifications:*** Earned MS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Technology Education, or closely related field from an accredited institution by start date of appointment.* Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching## ## **Conditions of Appointment:**The home campus of this position is Green Bay.Position is a full-time, academic year, non-tenure track Instructional Academic Staff appointment.
