Desired Qualifications:

• Active and valid Physical Therapy licensure for school-based practice
• Experience providing PT services within educational settings preferred
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic interventions appropriate for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ needs
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
• Commitment to adapting interventions to uphold IEP goals and support student progress

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students in line with their individualized education plans
• Perform screenings and assessments to determine students’ therapy requirements
• Maintain clear documentation and comply with all regulatory standards
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Support accessibility and inclusion for students with physical challenges
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and provide regular updates to the team

This full-time contract role offers the stability of consistent hours—35 per week—plus the experience of making a sustained, positive impact during two maternity leave coverages across the fall and winter terms.
