Medical AssistantHourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position HighlightsPosition: Medical AssistantLocation: Swedish HospitalFull Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PMRequired Travel: May need to travel to other Medical Group offices when neededWhat You Will DoGreet patients and escort them to exam roomDocument vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visitPerform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weightProvide front office support as neededPhlebotomy and giving injections varies based on the specialtyWhat You Will NeedEducation: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
