Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass Ryder drug test Pass Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (including verification of past 3 years) Pass DOT physical Pass Ryder road test Have appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position Class A or Class B tractor‑trailer experience (9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years) Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer Perform other duties as assigned Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and drug‑free workplace.
