This role offers the opportunity to grow your expertise, sharpen your perspective, and help teams operate with confidence, integrity, and impact every day.About the RoleKey ResponsibilitiesEmbed financial and information technology controls across Managed Markets Finance operations to ensure consistent complianceCoordinate internal and external audits, managing requests, documentation readiness, and stakeholder communicationsAssess and document financial and information technology controls from a risk‑based perspectiveMonitor adherence to Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance requirements across Managed Markets Finance processesReview control evidence to ensure alignment with control requirements and the Novartis Financial Controls ManualPerform segregation of duties analysis and review authorization limits across Managed Markets Finance systemsSupport annual risk and control assessments, including impact analysis of acquisitions or divestituresPartner with information technology stakeholders to maintain compliant data and digital control environmentsManage sub‑certification documentation for government price reporting and external provider assessmentsSupport timely completion of mandatory compliance trainings across the Managed Markets Finance organizationEssential RequirementsMinimum of six years of experience in finance or business, preferably within pharmaceutical or biotechnology environmentsDemonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and managing structured documentation and document repositoriesStrong compliance mindset with proven attention to detail and adherence to financial and process control requirementsAbility to work collaboratively across functions and levels, including Associate Director and Director stakeholdersProven capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentStrong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to consult, gather information, and support monitoring and remediation activitiesDesirable RequirementsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to question, synthesize, and articulate insights clearlyProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, and PlannerBenefits & RewardsThe salary for this position is expected to range between $108,500 and $201,500 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits.
