Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. Unit Info Patient Diagnoses: Multi-trauma, seizure, GSW, Falls, TBI, stroke, sepsis, psych, epidural hematomas, epidural hemorrhage, cerebral edema, Ortho related trauma- not elective, encephalopathy Neuro Surgery experience is also required Major Trauma unit Special Procedures/Unit Details: Craniotomy, Spinal Fusions, ORIF, muscle flaps, skin grafts, AKA, BKA, IM nails, external fixators, spinal stimulators- Every other holiday- Can be pulled to all other inpatient units- Unable to guarantee any specific scheduling requests ( ex: block scheduling) schedule as needed per unit. Compact or LA license in hand upon submittal Allied Candidates booked with pending license - Candidate must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing Orientation held 5 days a week References: Not required for submission, however 2 Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start contract. PDF format AHA certifications are required AWHONN Intermediate is required for L D RN CPI required for all CNA ER nurses must have CPI, or be able to get it before start. This cert is somewhat difficult to get, so please be prepared for this. NURSYS Reports for RNs must be sent with profile. Please ensure that the NURSYS is up to date (within 4 weeks of submission date). Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before they can return as travel.
