Role Description: The CNC Mill Setup/Operator is a full-time, on-site position in Lapeer, MI. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC milling machines, securing tooling and workpieces, monitoring production, adjusting offsets, and performing quality inspections. Candidates must be able to read blueprints and work instructions, troubleshoot basic machine issues, perform routine maintenance, document production and quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while meeting strict quality standards.
Qualifications
* Ability to independently set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
* Simultaneously set up and operate a variety of machines throughout various stages of production.
* Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances.
* Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Commitment to workplace safety and company procedures.
* CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment; tooling or mold-making experience preferred.
