Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Falls Church, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,257 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 13 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/29/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Scrub and Circulate Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 13 hours Hours per Shift: 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM Experience: 3 to 5 years recent scrub and circulating nurse experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required, CNOR preferred Must scrub and circulate Primarily scrubbing duties Required summer holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day) and winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) as needed Must add any time off requested to the end of contracts for a full 13 working weeks Description: RN must have 3 to 5 years of recent scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases. These include, but are not limited to, the following: coronary artery bypass, primary and redo procedures, aortic aneurysms, aortic and mitral valve replacements, TAVR procedures, ECMO, and VADs. Adult experience is required; pediatric experience is a plus. Ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills is essential. Participation in numerous ongoing research protocols is required. Excellent communication skills are a must. Candidate must be a team player and participate in professional activities as needed. Understanding that call may be necessary is essential. 1 to 2 call shifts per week and 1 to 2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule are expected (approximately 1 weekend per month). Holiday expectations include working 1 major summer holiday and 1 winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas). Epic access is needed.
