Civil Surgeon

We are seeking a USCIS-designated Civil Surgeon to join our healthcare team in Colorado. The Civil Surgeon will be responsible for conducting medical examinations and completing immigration-related medical documentation in compliance with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) guidelines. This role requires clinical expertise, attention to detail, and strong patient communication skills. Base Pay Range $200.00/hr - $200.00/hr Key Responsibilities Perform immigration medical examinations as required by USCIS Review medical history, conduct physical examinations, and order or review required laboratory tests and vaccinations Accurately complete and certify USCIS Form I-693 and related documentation Ensure compliance with federal immigration health regulations and USCIS policies Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely medical records Communicate findings clearly and compassionately to patients Collaborate with clinical staff, laboratory services, and administrative personnel Stay current with USCIS updates, vaccination requirements, and public health guidelines Uphold ethical standards and patient confidentiality at all times Qualifications Required Qualifications: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Colorado USCIS designation as a Civil Surgeon Board-certified or board-eligible preferred Strong knowledge of preventive care, vaccinations, and communicable disease screening Excellent documentation and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience conducting immigration medical exams Multilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages preferred) Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or public health Attention to detail and accuracy Strong interpersonal and communication skills Cultural sensitivity and patient-centered approach Ability to work independently and efficiently Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Work Environment & Schedule Outpatient clinic or medical office setting Flexible scheduling options available Compensation $200/hour and 8-12 hours per week (but flexible) We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
