This role focuses on psychological testing, IEP development, and behavioral support, working closely with multidisciplinary school teams. The position follows the academic calendar and offers a structured school-based environment. Responsibilities as the School Psychologist Psychological Assessments: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, and social‑emotional functioning. IEP Development: Interpret assessment results and contribute to IEP meetings with clear recommendations and goal setting. Student Support: Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student mental health and behavioral needs. Collaboration: Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective intervention and support strategies. Documentation: Prepare detailed evaluation reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications for the School Psychologist Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field is required. Certification: New York State School Psychologist certification or eligibility is required. Experience: Prior experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in school-based or clinical settings is preferred. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of IEP processes, psychological testing methods, and student support frameworks is required. Technical Skills: Proficiency with psychological assessment tools and report‑writing systems is required.
