Controller

The Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance, maintain compliance, and optimize internal controls and processes. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP (or applicable accounting standards) and regulatory requirements Oversee general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes Analyze financial results and provide insights to senior leadership Accounting Operations Manage day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets Establish and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies Ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation practices Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team Build scalable processes to support organizational growth Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement Strategic Support Partner with executive leadership on financial planning and analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling Provide financial guidance on business initiatives, investments, and cost management Audit & Compliance Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local reporting requirements Maintain relationships with auditors, banks, and other external partners Systems & Process Improvement Evaluate and enhance financial systems, tools, and reporting capabilities Drive automation and efficiency improvements across accounting functions Support ERP implementations or upgrades as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred) 8–12+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements Experience leading accounting teams in a dynamic or growing environment Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Leadership and team development Strategic thinking and business acumen Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Strong communication and executive presence Process improvement and change management Compensation Range: $135k - $185k Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers #J-18808-Ljbffr
