Inventory Control Clerk

Summary The Inventory Control Clerk will maintain the organization's inventory, order and supply necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all transactions. Maintain accurate records of received and distributed items. Inspect deliveries for discrepancies and resolve any issues with suppliers. Compare information on requisitions, invoices and shipping notices with material received or issued to verify accuracy of order. Complete regular audits and counts of inventory, reporting and resolving discrepancies; assist with period physical inventory audits. Prepare requests for procurement of materials. May mark identifying information on material. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Operate forklift truck when necessary. Perform other related duties as requested. Education & Experience Minimum 1-year previous experience in the same or similar position. Knowledge of materials and hardware handling. Basic understanding of inventory control procedures. Ability to complete basic math calculations. Able to work with the Microsoft Office suite of software including Excel and Word. Experience with Epicor or other ERP plus. Experience in forklift operations and ability to be certified as a Karman driver a must.
