Respiratory Therapist II Work Shift: Night (United States of America) Responsibilities Administer medication and implement respiratory care using an evaluate‑and‑treat approach. Provide critical care service in ventilator management settings, making independent clinical decisions. Deliver patient and family education, coordinate care activities, and support staff development. Assess patients for respiratory therapy, verify orders, and administer aerosolized medication, bronchial hygiene, volume expansion, and oxygen or medical gas therapy. Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis. Assist with invasive and non‑invasive procedures, cardiac service procedures, and pulmonary diagnostic testing. Collaborate with the healthcare team in planning patient care and promote quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist. Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred). 0–2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care. Strong communication and critical‑thinking skills; ability to build relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals. Computer literacy, including familiarity with databases.
