Conveyancing Assistant

Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join a successful and growing legal practice in Darlington, County Durham. This is a full-time, permanent job working 35 hours per week with flexible working hours. Role Responsibilities The incoming Residential Conveyancing Assistant will be supporting a busy Residential Property department, providing essential assistance to a Solicitor within a team setting. You will play a vital role in delivering excellent service to clients and ensuring smooth case progression. You will: Assist with the management of caseloads including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfer of equity matters Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other third parties both in person and via phone Provide full administrative support including preparing documentation, correspondence, and ensuring accurate record keeping Verify client identification in line with AML procedures Handle incoming and outgoing post and manage documents from all parties involved Maintain file integrity and ensure compliance with firm procedures and legal requirements Person Specification This law firm is seeking a proactive and client-focused Residential Conveyancing Assistant who thrives in a collaborative and professional team.
