Job Description:Job Title: NPD Program ManagerReport To: Product Marketing ManagerOverview:We are seeking a highly organized, results-driven NPD Program Manager to join our team. The NPD Program Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through commercialization. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives while facilitating collaboration across multiple departments.This individual will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing, and external partners to drive project success, manage risks, and ensure successful product launches.Responsibilities:Manage New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through launch and post-launch reviewDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely executionCoordinate cross-functional teams to align project activities, priorities, and resourcesFacilitate project meetings, document meeting notes and action items, and drive accountability for project deliverablesMonitor project progress and proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks and issuesEnsure project requirements, objectives, and deliverables remain aligned with approved scope and business goalsTrack and report project status, key milestones, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadershipSupport stage-gate processes and ensure required documentation is completed and maintained throughout the project lifecycleCollaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to support product development activities and decision-makingManage project changes, scope adjustments, and resource requirements while maintaining alignment with business prioritiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives related to project management processes, tools, and NPD executionBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field3-5 years of experience in project managementExperience leading cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational, planning, and time management skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing prioritiesProficiency with project management tools and softwareStrong problem-solving and risk management capabilitiesAbility to collaborate effectively across all levels of an organizationPreferred Qualifications:Project Management certification or equivalent project management trainingExperience managing New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through commercializationFamiliarity with stage-gate product development methodologiesExperience supporting cross-functional product launch activitiesExperience in manufacturing, industrial, or electric utility environmentsSalary: The compensation range for this position is $83K-$120K annually.
