Part-Time Pro Shop Clerk

The Town of Mooresville is looking for a friendly, dependable Part-Time Pro Shop Clerk to help create a welcoming experience for golfers and guests. From assisting customers in the pro shop to supporting the driving range, golf cart operations, and special events, you'll play an important role in keeping the golf facility running smoothly and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role The Part-Time Pro Shop Clerk performs a variety of customer service and operational duties throughout the golf facility. This position assists with pro shop operations, the golf range, on-course activities, and golf cart areas, while occasionally providing support to other golf operations as needed. The position also assists with setting up and cleaning up tables, chairs, and other areas for golf tournaments, meetings, and special events held at the clubhouse. The ideal candidate enjoys working with the public, has an interest in golf, and takes pride in providing friendly and helpful service to golfers and guests.

Please Note: This is an intermittent, non-benefited position. The schedule includes morning and evening shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service to golfers and guests
• Assist with daily golf shop and pro shop operations
• Support golf range operations and assist customers as needed
• Assist with golf cart operations and provide coverage for golf cart and range employees as needed
• Serve as an on-course marshal as assigned
• Assist golfers with questions and provide information regarding golf facility operations and services
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with golfers, guests, and other Golf Course employees
• Assist with setting up and cleaning tables, chairs, and other areas for golf tournaments, meetings, and special events
• Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming areas throughout the golf facility
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working with the public and a solid knowledge of golf
• Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
