Travel Med/Surg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, floating and call required.

We are seeking a qualified Travel Med/Surg RN to provide nursing care in a general medical-surgical inpatient nursing unit. Care includes managing general medications and addressing occasional non-critical pediatric patients. The nurse will be responsible for ensuring quality patient care and adhering to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general medical-surgical nursing duties.
• Manage patient medications and treatments.
• Provide care for non-critical pediatric patients as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2+ years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS & PALS preferred.
• Current RN license valid in the state of New Mexico.
• Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers, with submission through an agency registered in New Mexico.
