Incumbents in this position are expected to support all organizational expectations including, but not limited to customer service, patient rights, confidentiality of information, the environment of care and Eisner Health initiatives. Responsibilities Assist dentist chairside during procedures Prepare patients for treatment and procedures Set up and organize instruments, materials, and equipment Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories Take and record patient vital signs (e.g., blood pressure) Take dental radiographs (X-rays) (if licensed) Perform intraoral and extraoral photography Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care Maintain accurate patient records and charting Take intraoral impressions for non‑prosthodontic appliances Apply topical agents such as fluoride (under supervision) Place and remove rubber dams and matrices Remove sutures and periodontal dressings (after dentist evaluation) Assist patients with post‑treatment cleanup and instructions Manage infection control procedures according to guidelines Stock and replenish dental supplies and operatories Maintain inventory and report broken equipment Answer phones and assist with scheduling and patient communication Confirm appointments and follow up with no‑show patients Support off‑site dental screenings and education events Requirements and Qualifications Must possess a High School Diploma/GED. Must be fluent in Bilingual English and Spanish. Prior Dental Assisting experience preferred. Possess a certification as a Dental Assistant. Must have a current CPR Certification.
