Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA) / Personal Care Aide (PCA)

Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible Scheduling Available – Days, Evenings, Nights & Weekends

We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and motivated caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care services for seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living activities. This caregiver position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life while remaining safely in their own homes.

As a caregiver, home health aide (HHA), personal care aide (PCA), or companion caregiver, you will provide hands-on support, companionship, and household assistance that helps clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. We are looking for team members who are caring, trustworthy, patient, and committed to delivering exceptional home care services.

Responsibilities may vary based on the client's individualized care plan and may include:

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
• Mobility support, ambulation, and transfers
• Medication reminders for self-administered medications
• Meal planning and meal preparation
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Changing bed linens and maintaining a clean environment
• Companionship and emotional support
• Monitoring client safety and well-being
• Reporting changes in physical or mental condition to supervisors
• Accurate documentation of services provided

Caregivers are expected to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassionate care at all times.

Qualified candidates should possess:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of required orientation and caregiver training
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes
• Dependability, honesty, and professionalism
• Compassionate and patient-centered attitude
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and staff meetings

Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide (HHA), certified nursing assistant (CNA), personal care aide (PCA), direct support professional (DSP), or companion caregiver is preferred but not required.

This position takes place in clients' homes and may require driving between assignments. Duties involve moderate physical activity including:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Bending, crouching, and reaching
• Assisting clients with mobility
• Performing light housekeeping tasks
• Lifting up to 25 pounds

Caregivers may be exposed to bodily fluids and must follow all safety and infection-control procedures.
