The Job:

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll be part of our Construction Technology / Web Applications team working as a hybrid employee.

• 3–5 years of experience designing and developing APIs, backend services, server-side serverless code, and microservices for IoT, portal, and mobile applications.
• Strong experience with AWS-based architectures, including AWS IoT Core, FleetWise, API Gateway, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Timestream, MQTT, digital twin/shadow concepts, and modern development tools such as TypeScript, Golang, Python, Bash, NestJS, Postgres, React, Docker, AWS SAM, and Serverless Framework.
• Demonstrated ability to build secure, scalable, and high-performing applications, perform code reviews, support CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot issues across cloud services, APIs, embedded software, and connected systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong documentation practices, integrated testing, and collaboration across software, hardware, and product development teams.
• Experience with embedded systems, IoT, and connected products is required, and experience in construction technology or electrical applications is a plus.

The Salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $115,900.00. This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. Please note that salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker.
