Construction Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order at the jobsite, including sweeping, cleaning, and picking up construction debris. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties at the construction site, including sweeping and removing debris.
• Collect and dispose of construction waste and materials in designated areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist other team members with various tasks as needed.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

• Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

• Previous experience in construction or general labor preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.

Work Environment

Work is performed primarily outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Personal protective equipment such as gloves, hard hats, and safety glasses are required. Hard hat, work boots, and high-vis vest are required. The work is at a multifamily complex next to Arkansas University, with hours from 7am to 4pm, although end times may vary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fayetteville, AR.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
