Responsibilities Build relationships with customers, engaging them via in‑person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide the best possible counsel. Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, and recommend solutions that fit each customer’s unique goals. Proactively outreach and follow up with clients, asking questions to learn their financial needs and banking channel preferences. Identify solutions for new and existing clients by effectively engaging and communicating with them. Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products and services. Provide a consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Proactively educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products and services to meet their financial needs. Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence and accuracy. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Typically a minimum of four to five years of job‑related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training. National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z; subject to criminal background and credit check. Ability to maintain satisfactory NMLS registration requirements, including a satisfactory criminal and credit record. Preferred Skills / Experience Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up. Strong engagement and communication skills with clients. Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems. Comprehensive knowledge of all retail products and services. Customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience participating in sales campaigns and promotions. Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs, leveraging a digital‑first mindset. Advanced proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
