What You Will Do Your day to day success is determined by your ability to: Maintain a safe working environment and promote health and safety awareness. Ensure accuracy and efficiency before and throughout operation of NC Grinder. Grind parts to specified dimensions. Interpret blueprint drawings for specifications. Clean machine, tooling and part, and may perform minor machine maintenance. Set up and operate NC Grinder. Use hand angle grinder. Plan, prioritize and organize assigned tasks. Communicate quality issues and non-conformances to management promptly. Use various measuring tools to ensure conformity to visual and dimensional specifications. Participate in continuous learning opportunities. Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. With Quality in Mind, You Also Bring the Following: High School Diploma or GED. Experience or training in a manufacturing environment. Experience in operation of grinder lathe. Basic math, geometry, and mechanical aptitude. Basic measurement and print-reading skills. Experience with precision measuring tools. Precision and strong attention to detail. Excellent manual dexterity and ability to control application tools precisely. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Aptitude for decision-making and problem solving. Excellent team skills; collaborative, open-minded, adaptable. Motivation to self-advance and grow within the company. Preferred Qualifications: Two Year Technical Degree accreditation preferred. Two years of previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Passion in delivering accuracy and quality as a priority. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift to 50 pounds or more. Prolonged standing and walking. Repetitive movement, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
