Job Title

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Location

Boston, MA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Day/Night Rotating | Every other weekend and holidays required | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
• Rotate between day and night shifts, including every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing or compact license eligibility
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma/emergency department experience required
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or academic medical center emergency department
• Strong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making skills
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems commonly used in large hospital settings
