Buyer – Aerospace & Electromechanical Procurement
Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)

Commodity & Supplier Management

• Assist in supplier assessments, selection, and onboarding
• Obtain and analyze quotes, including detailed cost breakdowns and delivery timelines
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery using financial and analytical tools
• Lead weekly delivery status meetings with key suppliers
• Support supplier development, training, and cost reduction initiatives

Procurement Execution

• Create, enter, and maintain purchase orders within the ERP system
• Manage supplier communication to ensure on-time delivery and issue resolution
• Work cross-functionally to resolve non-conformances and ensure compliance with customer requirements and contracts

Operations & Process Support

• Facilitate efficient material flow to support production schedules
• Support receiving of raw materials and shipment of finished goods
• Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List (ASL)
• Distribute monthly supplier KPI and performance reports
• Follow and support processes required to maintain ISO certifications
• Execute daily work plans, resolve issues quickly, and support short-term operational goals

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience sourcing electromechanical tools, equipment, or complex components
• Strong understanding of supply chain and sourcing methodologies
• Proven negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
• Experience with supplier audits, surveillance, and performance management
• Familiarity with ISO9001:2015 standards
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining and welding of complex metal parts
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and understand GD&T principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and represent the company professionally

• Base Salary: $65,000 – $85,000
• Bonus: Up to 10% discretionary
