Tax Manager
A long-established, nationally ranked regional CPA firm in the Southeast is seeking a Tax Manager for its tax practice to lead client engagements, tax planning and review.
Location: Macon, GA
Supervise client work to ensure delivery within time, scope and budget
Manage engagement and client expectations and lead client meetings
Assess issue materiality and client risk tolerance; present ideas that lead to additional services
Research and review work papers for book-to-tax differences and apply tax law to client circumstances
Apply tax planning concepts and identify savings and risk-reduction opportunities
Review research findings, returns and work papers for consistency with firm policy and professional standards (AICPA ethics, Circular 230, §6694)
Pursue business development through new and existing contacts
