Assistant Plant Manager

Job Location: Green Circle Growers Inc - OBERLIN, OH 44074 Job Category: Manufacturing Position Overview Oversee the daily operations of your assigned work cells. Primary responsibilities will be to train, plan, organize, direct, and complete packaging and production orders. Job Duties Direct supervisors and crew leaders in assigned areas of greenhouse Communicate with receiving department of supplies, and resource needs Review production schedules and packaging plan with supervisors, communicate to Plant Manger labor needs for work cell assignments Teach train and develop supervisors and hourly personnel. Prepare and maintain packaging and production reports in Microsoft Teams Ensure the use of work instructions and run rates, use of tracking tools hour by hour boards Maintain and promote Safety activities to provide a safe working environment Involved in creating SOP’s and work instructions alongside the Continuous Improvement Team Responsible for the implementation of SOP’s and training of the staff All other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements College Degree or equal Work Experience Previous experience in front-line supervision 4+ years of management experience in a diverse environment Experience with Microsoft office: word, excel, power point Ability to work with all levels of employees and management Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment Hands on commitment to getting the job done in a safe manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Strong leadership and motivational skills Physical Environment & Requirements Climate controlled office or home office environment Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking Frequently requires sitting, standing, fine dexterity, and handling Occasionally requires walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 20lbs), carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching Rarely requires climbing #J-18808-Ljbffr
