About the Role

The Company is seeking a senior business development leader to source, evaluate, negotiate, and close credit partnership opportunities with fintech platforms, marketplace lenders, and non-bank financial institutions. The role focuses on growing lending partnerships across consumer and small-business markets while ensuring alignment with regulatory, compliance, and credit risk requirements. Responsibilities include managing the full partnership process, from prospecting and deal structuring through negotiation and onboarding, and maintaining a strong pipeline with clear performance reporting. The successful candidate will build senior-level relationships, represent the organization externally, share market insights, and contribute to long-term growth strategy. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, along with at least eight years of experience in fintech business development, capital markets, banking partnerships, or marketplace lending. A deep understanding of credit sponsorship, fintech loan origination, and embedded finance is required. Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to manage complex deals, collaborate across teams, and stay organized under pressure. The ideal candidate is motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable meeting sales goals and deadlines.
