Mental Health Therapist - Fully Licensed: Contract Role

Role Description Mamaya Health is seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Therapist for a part-time, remote contract role focused on supporting women across diverse life stages and experiences. In this position, the therapist will provide individual and family therapy via telehealth, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a consistent caseload, documenting sessions and clinical progress in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards, and collaborating with prescribers and care team members to support integrated care. The therapist will also engage in case management as appropriate, coordinate referrals to additional resources, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment aligned with Mamaya Health’s mission. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Mental Health, including the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions affecting women. Strong skills in Treatment Planning, with experience developing and updating evidence-based, person-centered plans of care. Background in Social Work and Case Management, including coordinating services, resources, and community supports for clients. Experience providing Family Therapy and working with clients in the context of relationships, family systems, and life transitions. Active, fully independent clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist) in at least one of Mamaya Health's states of operation is required; multiple state licenses are a plus. Prior telehealth experience and comfort using digital tools and electronic health records in a remote environment. Training or experience in women's mental health, reproductive mental health, or related specialty areas is highly beneficial. Commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
