Job Description

This national health system Medical Center is assisting an established and growing OB/GYN practice in the heart of Myrtle Beach, SC in their search for a full-time board certified/board eligible OB/GYN.

Qualified Candidates/Details:

• Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
• Have a South Carolina License or the ability to become licensed in South Carolina prior to starting
• Robotically Trained and interest in a Robotics practice is preferred
• Practice Call Only, No primary OBGYN call on weekends or weekdays
• Practice utilizes 24/7 OB Hospitalist support
• APP support for Inboxes
• Accomplished OBGYN practice with over 18 years of experience

The medical center is part of a multi–facility health system located on the coast of the Grand Strand community and has facilities throughout the Grand Strand to provide quality, convenient healthcare.

The medical center is a 403-bed acute care hospital serving residents of Horry and surrounding counties. Our hospital offers the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) in Horry and Georgetown counties and is a designated Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center by South Carolina DHEC. Our hospital is also the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in the service area, certified by DNV-GL

The Medical Center is recognized by the Joint Commission, a leading accreditor of healthcare organizations in the United States, for the following programs: chest pain, knee and hip replacement, sepsis and stroke rehabilitation. In addition, we have received awards from the American Heart Association for our treatment of heart attacks and stroke.

The Medical Center is an ACGME accredited residency programs with six residences (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, and a Transitional Program) and two fellowships (Hospice and Palliative Medicine and Endocrinology).

 

Satellite locations include:

• a 24–hour emergency department located in the North Myrtle Beach area.
• a 24-hour emergency department located on Oakheart Road near the Hwy 501 side of Carolina Forest Blvd.
• a 24–hour emergency department, imaging, lab, wound care program and behavioral health.
• an outpatient facility for the treatment of chronic non-healing wounds and hyperbaric technology
• a breast center which provides outpatient diagnostic services including X-ray, CT scan and ultrasound. A dedicated women's center provides digital mammography (including 3D), breast education, bone densitometry, ultrasound and x-ray services.
• an imaging center which offers outpatient procedures including CT scan, MRI/Breast MRI and digital mammography (screening).
