Payroll Specialist

Job Description: Payroll Specialist at ERRG ERRG is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team at our Martinez, CA office. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with payroll software, and the ability to manage multi-state payroll processes. Responsibilities include: Processing weekly timesheets and multi-state payroll for 200+ employees, including compliance with prevailing wage rates and certified payroll reporting. Updating insurance rates and reporting via required platforms. Handling out-of-cycle payroll, garnishments, deductions, and tax filings. Supporting audits and maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications: 7+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience. Experience with ERP payroll systems, preferably JD Edwards or similar. Knowledge of certified payroll reporting and construction industry payroll is required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting. Experience with Oracle platforms and ADP SmartCompliance is a plus. Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 USD.
