• Our client is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in business and process analysis, requirements gathering, and testing to support the evaluation and implementation of a new investment data platform.
• This role will focus on assessing current-state processes, data flows, and systems, and partnering with business stakeholders to define future-state capabilities that align with strategic investment objectives.

• Partner with Investment stakeholders to document current-state processes, systems, and data flows, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct interviews and working sessions to capture business needs and translate them into clear requirements for the new data platform.
• Elicit, document, and manage business and technical requirements to support platform design and implementation.
• Support the definition of future-state workflows and operating models aligned with the new investment data platform.
• Develop a strong understanding of existing investment systems and data architecture, including integration points and dependencies.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including current-state assessments, future-state designs, and data flow diagrams.
• Assist with data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities during platform implementation.
• Develop and execute testing strategies, including user acceptance testing, to ensure successful delivery of platform capabilities.
• Support change management and transition activities to ensure adoption of new processes and systems.
• Provide ongoing support through data analysis, reporting, and process refinement as the platform is implemented and stabilized.
• Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as directed by the IDS Research Director.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 7+ years of experience in gathering and documenting requirements, improving business and technical processes, and creating and implementing testing plans.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail to help solve problems and make decisions.
• Experience writing technical documentation (requirements, process maps, etc.).
• Excellent communicator and be able to produce clear and concise documentation.
• Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.

• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau or Power BI., Highly desired
• Experience with robotic process automation tools such as Power Automate., Highly desired
• Investment/financial market industry experience., Highly desired
